📝 Exam Pattern & Scheme
The FET is a computer-based test (CBT) designed to evaluate the candidate’s proficiency in their chosen sub-specialty.

Total Questions: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

Total Time: 105 minutes (1 hour 45 minutes).

Exam Timing: 09:00 AM to 10:45 AM.

Marking Scheme: * +4 marks for every correct answer.

-1 mark for every incorrect answer (Negative Marking).

Qualifying Criteria: Candidates must secure a minimum of the 50th percentile in their respective specialty to qualify for counseling.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a recognized postgraduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) or post-doctoral degree (DM/MCh/DrNB) in the concerned specialty.

Cut-off Date: The candidate must have passed the qualifying degree on or before December 31, 2025.

Registration: Must be registered with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or a State Medical Council (SMC).
